Comet's Base Block Spider Tool works with all models of Comet 108C, 108exp & 108 4-Pro drive clutches.
Simply secure this base block spider tool in a vise, set the clutch on the base block with the threaded rod through the center bore and secure with the thumb nut. Then using the 3 post or 4 post spider tool, loosen the spider. After all servicing is complete, loosen the thumb nut and remove the clutch. Spider should be torqued to 250 ft/lbs.
For 102 clutches use Comet's tapered arbor.
