This is a "1 wire" 10SI type ("Self Exciting") alternator. It has a built in voltage regulator. Just hook up the battery and you are set to go. Can be used in countless applications where a single battery connection is desired. This alternator is often used to replace generators on older tractors and other older equipment. Mounting kit GDR9104 may be required.
